Engaging in the community is important and taking a Spanish course is important also. After this course is over, I want to continue my journey with learning how to understand and speak Spanish with my friend´s family and hopefully visit her home country and interact with not just her but others also. I want to further my understand of other cultures and not just my own. I love to see how other people were raised and how their traditions have either helped or affected their lives in different ways. I want to taste new foods and see other ways of living. This course has helped broaden the idea and want to explore a culture other than my own. Out of this course I got the need to want to open up windows with people who live and grew up differently than I did with their foods, cultures, values and other sentimental needs.
