Cybersecurity Technology

I have been in the military for 15 years now. That is enough time to see all our file plans go from paper copies to data copies. With all our data like social security numbers, and addresses floating around the network we have been taught to protect all our Personally Identifiable Information. The purpose of protecting it is because all sensitive data is susceptible to attacks or damage to data from people all over the world. The safety of my information as well as others is important to me and this is the primary reason, I am interested in studying Cybersecurity. In addition, Cybersecurity is constantly evolving because hackers are always looking for new ways to breach networks or personal computers. Although the constant change can be hectic at times it opens a door for new opportunities to learn new specialized skills for any future attacks. There is also a high demand for Cybersecurity because more companies are using digital file plans and technology is constantly evolving. The more changes to technology the more employment available for Cybersecurity graduates. The pay matches the level of pressure that will come with this career averaging at approximately 90K according to google. The last, but definitely not the least reason I was interested in studying this program is because my mother, who also teaches at a college, is currently studying the program. She is similar to me and enjoys exploring something that is new and full of adventure. Since she has been in the program, she admitted that there is never a dull moment, and she is always on her toes. The information my mother provided to me along with the research I conducted, and the constant need for awareness and protection within my current full-time career is enough motivation to start studying this curriculum.
