Introduction
The digital world has become a part of our everyday lives by connecting us to a
multitude of things, including information, people, and even economic opportunities. Now,
due to this new digital age, concerns have been raised about the protection of human
rights. This article talked about how organizations and countries recognized they needed to
address these concerns.
Body
The topic of digital rights connects with multiple principles of social science, such
as law and sociology. The principle of law identifies the legal structures that govern digital
rights and how they are enforced both internationally and domestically. The principle of
sociology looks at how technology affects social interactions, resource access, and
inequality.
The article explores how Jordanian laws and regulations address digital rights. The
article uses the research method. This includes analyzing international treaties, scholarly
articles, and legal documents to find that information.
For marginalized groups, the topic of digital rights is relevant. Many factors can
affect a person’s ability to benefit from technology, such as where you’re located, your
income, or even your education.
The PowerPoint talks about behavior and risks and how criminology theories are
related to victim behavior and risk. The theory suggests that the lifestyle and routines of
others will determine the level of risk that a person will face. This is related to digital rights
because the less information you know the more likely you are to get exploited. Especially
individual who don’t have much access to technology given their environment or
background.
Conclusion
By raising awareness of the importance of digital human rights, this article is
contributing to society. It also does so, having already gathered up research and informing
others, including policymakers. Identifying the areas that need further research on digital
rights will encourage others. We can create a better society by understanding the
opportunities and challenges there are in protecting digital rights.
