influenced by preceding events. In cybersecurity, this principle can relate to the

predictability of a system’s behavior based on its weakness. According to determinism if

you understand the initial conditions of a system, you can predict its behavior in the future.

Likewise, in cybersecurity, if you know what can possibly go wrong like a security breach,

you can predict what might happen if someone tries to take advantage of that. By

understanding how a system behaves we can predict and possibly prevent potential

threats.
