Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs states that “all humans have needs that exist on a

hierarchy.” As we satisfy our lower-level needs, we begin to focus on meeting our upper-

level needs. According to the hierarchy, the lowest level would be psychological needs. I

use technology to fulfill this role by ordering groceries oE Instacart and having them

delivered to my dorm. The next level is safety is something that can be easily accomplished

with my phone as I have downloaded the ODU LiveSafe app that has a panic alarm along

with other safety features. Instagram has helped meet my needs for love and esteem as I

can connect with my friends and share my milestones by posting on my page. By working

this past summer at a computer repair shop sometimes I had to search online during my

repairs which gave me more experience and helped cultivate my skills.
