Determinism is a principle of science that states behavior is caused or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>influenced by preceding events. In cybersecurity, this principle can relate to the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>predictability of a system\u2019s behavior based on its weakness. According to determinism if<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>you understand the initial conditions of a system, you can predict its behavior in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, in cybersecurity, if you know what can possibly go wrong like a security breach,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>you can predict what might happen if someone tries to take advantage of that.
