There are many ways to tell if a computer is safe and there are many ways to check is a computer is safe as well. You can do both of those by first seeing if the computer has a password, that would be the first good sign of protection. Other ways could include having a firewall up and you can just go in to the settings to see if that is up and running that would ultimately be the secondary protection. You can make sure that the computer is up to date and that the antivirus software is up to date as well. Making sure that no suspicious emails are being sent or open because that is just allowing hackers to get information from your computer. The last thing I would recommend is having a STRONG password, I know I mentioned having a password but having an easy password to someone who knows you very well is like having no password at all and that is just giving the green light for people to go into your computer and do whatever they want.

Computers have made the world a safer place by being able to track people and see the locations at all time even when the individual you are tracking is miles and hours away. That has also been a part of computers that has been unsafe because people are easily stalked and even kidnapped because of that. It has also made communication between people very easy and it allows people from everywhere to be able to talk without having to meet face to face. That has been a negative as well because people never know who they are talking to behind a computer sometimes and that it how scams and cat fishing happens. Lastly, computers have made the world less safer by being able to buy things online because a lot of older people are not tech savvy and they end up giving their information to a scammer thinking that it is areal business. Computers have made our world safer by being helping important industries like hospitals and banks move more efficiently and do their job better.
