The biggest ethical issue that I see in my research is confidentiality and privacy as well as security breaches. A lot of businesses get privacy complaints and I recently read an article on general data protection regulation also known as (GDPR) which is basically something new that has been made oversees forcing companies to keep there word on what they do with people information. People want to know what is going on with the data that they are handing over to companies, they do not want it being shared or sold. People are handing over this information under the impression that only the company it is being handed to has it and they will protect it like it is theirs. General data protection regulation does just that as well as restricts companies from doing so or allows all customers all who have information put in their system know what is going on and much more.
I believe that the United States has the highest cyber security risk, right behind the United States may be china they are very advanced in tech as well. The United States probably has them beat by a lot as far as crimes go because people who live in America tend to also live more on the internet or phones than they do real life. With that being said, problems are happening everyday to everyone but mainly the older people because they are less aware of what can be a danger to them. Also, hackers are finding new ways to hack and scam and phish because new forms of defense are being made everyday but we are so advanced it just never stops. Some countries may be worse with less hacks just because the technology is not advanced or the people are not advanced. I am sure they probably get hit the worst.
