Learning Style

When I study outside of class, I usually just read over my notes and the slide shows they provide for us and quiz myself by telling my girlfriend to read questions out to me and I answer them. That way I figure out what I really know and things I dont understand. I usually capitalize the things I hear a lot when I am taking notes in my classes and I just try to write out what I hear because it helps me memorize better. One class that I am doing well in is English. I read things over and over to analyze and memorize what I need to know when the time comes. One class that I am not doing so good in is Math, I have never really did good in that subject no matter how much i stayed after or studied. But I am using flashcards and watching Youtube to help me fully understand and figure out little tricks to make the class as easy as possible. My only problem is memorizing all the different word problems and formulas. The five things I thought would help me the best were concentration and memory, remembering, learning skills and strategies, assertive communication, and note taking strategies. I think the one that would help the most is probably remembering because that is where I struggle the most. I think that If I was to study in more quiet places with no music that would be the most effective way to study outside of class, so maybe in like a library or something.
