The major that I will be pursuing is this 2019-20 year is dental hygiene. I chose that major because a lot of dentist have their own thing going for them and make a lot of money. I want to have a very successful future and be able to do things for my kids that I did not get to experience as a child and I think this field will help me make enough money to do that. I have watched a lot of Youtube videos but I have yet to actually get the real experience of being a dental hygienist.

Parallel Major

• My parallel major is Cyber-security.
• I chose cyber-security because I am interested in what actually goes on when you get deeper into the internet and exactly how it is set up. I also chose it it because one day I think I want to have my own website but I want to own everything about it so if I am good enough to program a security wall and build my own ill be making a bunch of money.
• Some interesting facts about cyber security is that the crimes are going UP not down. Cyber-crime damages will cost the world $6 trillion annually by 2021, up from $3 trillion just a year ago.
• One job I could have is cyber-security analyst. An CSA plans and carries out security measures to protect a company’s computer networks and systems.
• I could gain professional experience by attending school and taking the correct courses to lead me to get a good job but everything else would come from school. And my academic advisor is Lenora Thorbjornsen
