I have been actively involved in the campus community during my time at ODU, I am in various clubs such as; ODU DMC (Developing Men of Color), Hampton Roads BIC (Blacks in Cyber), and the ODU Athletic Foundation. An experience in which I feel best prepared for my future profession was participating in Cyber Sprints hosted by the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI). During this event, I was working with a team, and we were given a problem-based scenario where we had to work as a team to come up with a solution. This required to use my technical skills and integrate my cyber knowledge, while also thinking critically and using my interpersonal skills to collaborate with others.
