My academic work is helping me with my major of Criminal justice because it is important for me to learn the basics of everything before I jump in headfirst. For example, I am taking Criminal Justice classes. If I did not have these classes, I would be struggling. My general education classes are helping me as well because I would not be able t get to my major intended classes without them. You have to understand basic knowledge before you jump into anything, and that goes for things outside of education as well. Another example is that I am taking a Statistics class. This class is helping me with my intended career because you need to know how to make these statistics in anything, but especially int he Criminal Justice field because of things like crime stats.
