My major is Criminal Justice and it relates to cybersecurity because there are a lot of electronic aspects in the criminal justice system. There are cybercrimes, crimes that need further research, therefore online access is a need. In addition to it relating to my major, my minor is also cybersecurity. Some other majors that cybersecurity can relate to are computer science, business, information technology, and law. Computer science can relate to cybersecurity because it is the study of computers and how they work. Business can relate because it is always good to know technology and how it works, especially with he world becoming more and more digital. Information technology can relate because they are there to help others with technology issues, so it would be good to know if something is going on behind the scenes. Law relates to cybersecurity because cybersecurity helps identify cybercrimes, which is good for a law student to understand for their future careers. In a way, one could agree that any major could relate to cybersecurity because of how the entire world is becoming electronic-based. Everyone should understand how to protect themselves online.
