What is the role of information technology in all of this? The answer is everything, the use of
technology makes your business more efficient. Every aspect of a company or business
will use technology to create and sell a product. From credit card payments to a simple
website. The IT department runs support for their fellow employes. Network administration
for the computer infrastructure of the company. Cybersecurity to protect this
infrastructure and data. Then managing the data of the company to include customer
profiles and data, company product data, sales information etc. Based on the business
and what they do the IT department will meet that need. A bread company will not need a
