TalkAbroad #2



For this TalkAbroad experience I chose Marie Garlih Anozar. She is a college student who lives in Haiti and she is studying business administration. I enjoyed my conversation with Marie Garlih Anozar, although it was far more difficult than my first one. I feel I was a bit more confident in the learning material within the first TalkAbroad conversation. This second one, I feel that I fumbled my words a bit more and struggled to grasp everything she said. I do think that Marie Garlih Anozar was a great partner because she took her time to try to explain what I didn’t understand, and put together what I couldn’t quite say yet. I think TalkAbroad was an amazing opportunity to test my skills, and it has shown me that I shouldn’t get comfortable with just reading French and should practice my speech much more often. I am grateful for my TalkAbroad experience.
