Review the articles linked with each individual motive in the presentation page or Slide #4.  Rank the motives from 1 to 7 as the motives that you think make the most sense (being 1) to the least sense (being 7).  Explain why you rank each motive the way you rank it.

Crimes are committed for various reasons, including entertainment, politics, revenge, boredom, recognition, and money. Ranking these motives in order from most to least sense, I would start with multiple reasons. Multiple influences could persuade someone to commit a crime. The second would be money, as financial gain is a significant motivator. Data shows that mid-level cybercriminals make around $900,000 annually, highlighting the strong financial motive behind many crimes. Revenge would be third on the list due to the psychological factors involved in acting out of emotion. Fourth would be recognition, as many individuals seek acknowledgment and awards for their actions. I would place political motives fifth because hacktivist numbers have grown due to the new generation, but not higher than the other motives. Entertainment would be listed sixth, as most hackers have stronger motives for committing crimes. Boredom would be listed last because there is nothing to gain from this motive.
