The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Workforce Framework is an important tool that classifies job roles and their descriptions in the field of cybersecurity. It outlines the knowledge, skills, and responsibilities required for the workforce in this field. The framework is divided into several different categories. The areas that interest me the most are Protection and Defense (PD), Investigation (IN), and Cyberspace Effects (CE) because they involve hands-on responsibilities. On the other hand, the areas that interest me the least are Oversight and Governance (OG) and Cyberspace Intelligence because they involve developing policies and plans, which are not my initial preference. My career aspirations are focused on investigating cyber crimes and technology systems, collecting and analyzing data, as well as protecting systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
