Hello everyone I’m a cybersecurity student just starting out. I’m interested in learning the process of protecting computers and networks, and I’m excited to grow my skills so I can work in the cybersecurity field one day.

Synthesis of Cybersecurity

So far in my classes I’ve learned about things like online safety, how hackers try to break into systems, and why rules and policies are important for keeping information secure. Each topic connects to the others for example, learning about how attacks happen helps me understand why security policies exist.

Connection to Personal & Professional Goals

My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity, starting with an entry level role where I can keep learning and help protect people’s information. I’m especially interested in areas like network defense and preventing cyber attacks.
