How do you think media influences our understanding about cybersecurity

Media which includes TV shows and movies do influence our understanding about a lot of different topics. Cybersecurity, especially hacking is usually exaggerated for the intensity and movie because of the conflict it creates. While cybersecurity and hacking are very important and can be a very dangerous thing if not taught, however media influences it to be more of a future fantasy thing more so for entertainment then actually being realistic. Media shouldn’t be what we use to teach people how to be safe on the internet, but not having a realistic grasp on it or exaggerating/under representing it can lead to the general public not really understanding it.
