Watch this video and think about how the career of digital forensics investigators relate to the social sciences. Write a journal entry describing what you think about the speaker’s pathway to his career.

After watching the video, the speaker’s pathway to his career is an interesting one. He explains digital forensics in a very easy to understand kind of way, even if you don’t know cybersecurity. Digital forensics investigators relate to social sciences because experts in the field use social sciences as techniques to identify and counter malicious actors. These experts also use the theories of social sciences to learn and profile individuals that commit cyber attacks against unsuspecting victims. The speaker describes many different operations his team and himself had to do for clients and how excited he got when they were on the right track. He had influence from his father to like computers and that is what eventually led him to his career today.
