Why Cybersecurity?
I developed my interest in computers and technology very early on. I learned how to use a computer at a very young age. The janitor at my elementary school would leave the server room open, so I would peek inside. This fascinated me, and made me infatuated with the cyber world. I would research computer parts and computer technology, play games and try to figure out how they worked, anything electronic I could get my hands on. Eventually, as I matured, I realized that cybersecurity is the professional future of technology, as the world becomes electronic in itself. Every company has electronic databases and systems, and there will always be someone malicious who will want access for nefarious means, which means there has to be someone on the other side keeping the data secure.
