I chose to go into marine biology because I have always loved working with fish, aquatic plants, and corals. Being able to study them and admire their natural beauty both as specimens and as organisms in their environment has always been a passion of mine. Upon realizing that I could make my hobby a career I jumped at the chance and began diligently studying so that I could transfer to ODU, a school that offered the option of marine biology and where many of my family has attended in the past.
