My name is Alexis Magdalena Johnston. I am a Sophomore at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I have lived in Fredericksburg Virginia since I started grade school. I am a Hispanic female I just had a learning disability that held me back when it came learning the language. I know a few things in Spanish since I am around the culture, I just took this class to understand and learn more since I am not around my Hispanic side of the family to hear it everyday. I have never been in a Spanish class until this year. I want to learn the language for myself as well as the profession I am trying to accomplish. My major is Psychology and I feel like knowing this language will broad my understanding and ability to help and communicate with more people.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three fun facts about me: I love to write music and poetry, I love to read books my favorite author is James Patterson, and lastly I like to play basketball. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hola!
