I am Pursuing to be a dental hygienist. I chose this major because I always thought the different things they have to is interesting and fun. I was always around my dad growing up and he’s a dental technician, therefore, I was always around a dental field. I shadowed a dental hygienist multiple times to make sure this is something I want to do.

2. Why did you choose this as your Parallel Major?

I chose this major because it is still helping people out even more. It seems like a very interesting job and there are multiple things you can do with a nursing degree as well. 

3. Interesting fact about this major.

This major can have broad things to do such as theory, research, and practice. They can work it different settings like a hospitals and clinics, in rural clinics, in teaching facilities and in home healthcare settings

4. Research at least one career that you can do with this major and provide information on that career.

I can be a neonatal nurse with a nursing degree. They basically take care of infants who were born prematurely. In addition, they can handle infants with health problems like birth defects, infections, or heart deformities.
