Why not check out the BRAND NEW Master of Library and Information Studies at Old Dominion University? Starting this Fall, ODU will be offering a 30 credit hour master program in library science. Fields covered will include: public, academic and specialty (whoot, whoot archives!) library work. A majority of the course work will be online, however one session of the Summer Institute is an on-campus requirement, along with a mandatory internship.

A master of library and information studies can give students practical expertise to build upon, deepen theoretical understanding and provide new skills in information literacy. Basically, a master’s makes librarians.
