Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Old Dominion University has decided to close until March 23, 2020. Below is a statement from the university.
In keeping with Gov. Northam’s ban on gatherings of more than 100 people and in support of similar actions taken by cities across Hampton Roads to protect the well-being of the community, we have made the decision to close the following facilities and services, for at least one week:
- Webb University Center
- The Libraries and Learning Commons at Perry Library
- Monarch Transit, including SafeRide
- Student Recreation Center
For a schedule of all Dining Services, visit: http://olddominion.campusdish.com
For up-to-date athletics information, please visit odusports.com.
We realize this unprecedented action presents significant changes to normal operations, not only from a logistical standpoint, but also in the ways we come together as a community. However, we believe these are necessary precautions to keep our Monarch community safe and healthy and to mitigate potential risks.
