My initial opinion of the class went as expected for the semester. I believed I would learn how individuals are influenced by each other socially, interaction, and other’s behaviors and attitudes. I did just that. I really understood how all those factors are interpreted and interacted with. I believed I achieved the course objectives by understanding the material, studying for the tests, and completing all assignments on time. I did really well on tests and assignments besides the first assignment. After understanding the expectations within the assignment and its setup, I was very successful after. I have always liked social psychology and after learning more I still enjoy it and can use it in my everyday life. If I took the class over again I would set more time aside for reading and completing the chapter objectives. One skill I’ve gained is how to use and operate a word press. I have never used something like that before and it was interesting bringing all the blogs to life with a visual aid and online portfolio. I picked this visual aid because it shows how poorly I did on the first assignment compared to the other assignments following it. It shows my academic progress within the class.
