Artifact 5

The cartoon above represents the argument established within Module 3 about whether opposites attract or do birds of a feather flock together. Through this activity, I learned that this argument all depends on the person and their experience with love. For me, I believe opposites attract because I’m attracted to someone who can bring new things into my life and get me out of my comfort zone. On the other hand, some people really find that they gravitate towards those who are similar to them in interests and morals. I believe I enjoy friendships with people who are extremely similar to me, but my romantic relationships tend to be with those who are complete opposite of me.
Artifact 4

The image above represents the aggression survey within Module 12 in a comedic way. Through this activity, I learned a lot about myself and my own aggression. I learned that different actions whether good or bad in nature can still show aggression. Smashing inanimate objects, acting out of self-defense, and purposefully causing damage are all acts of aggression in my eyes. Yes, you may be acting out of self defense for a good reason, but that does not take away the aggressive nature of the act.
Artifact 3

The image above represents the attitude survey in Module 7. This module asked you about the attitude towards certain issues like the homeless, but then asked what have you done personally to help fix the issues so that is why I chose the image of the homeless man. This activity taught me that your attitude towards a world issue does not mean anything or have any affect until you physically take action. I think a lot of the public is guilty of this and we should all have a reality check like this activity.
Artifact 2

I chose the image above to represent the happy helping hands activity in Module 11. This activity tasked me in looking at 10 individuals I know fairly well and mark whether they are happy or unhappy as well as if they are helpful or more selfish. Through this, I was able to see that those individuals that I know that are happy also tend to be more giving and helpful. I also learned within myself that I am happier when I’m able to give and lend a hand to others.
Artifact 1

The image above was chosen from my favorite item to archive, which was Module 8. I chose this visual because it represented the activity of describing stereotypes from people of all different cultures. This activity taught me that stereotypes are capable of changing over time due to the world becoming more diverse and people having a more cultured mindset. This was my favorite artifact because it was cool to see some of the predisposed stereotypes I have in my head when I think about a certain culture. This activity caused me to be more cognizant of that.
