With an everchanging society, technological advancements become more prevalent and impacts society positively and/or negatively. For instance, before we had smartphones, people communicated through modes from telegrams to pay phones. These were an inconvenience that needed to be improved upon because communication proved to be challenging. Introducing smartphones allowed people to communicate with others while being mobile. This made it easier to reach somebody in case of emergencies. Also, through applications we can see and communicate with others from different states and countries. Also, they provide as a source of entertainment. We can watch shows, stream videos, and play games to distract us from our everyday problems. They also provide security by having trackers. Having smartphones makes life easier, entertaining, and safer.
