Cyber attacks happen everyday all over the world, many people believing that the United States is where the risk of being hacked may lie, however it was stated by the British Bankers Association that 30% of the global cyber attacks all come from china alone. The FBI most wanted list also has eighteen cyber criminals on it just from china as well. China is a hub for many of these cyber criminals and they target the places like the United States all the time mostly going after US critical industries. Aside from Chinese hackers America faces many other forms of hacks that are also happening frequently, for example In America it is common for people to face Social Engineering hacks which is hackers manipulating the human phycology in order to achieve a desired goal. Another example of a popular way hackers affect America is through use of ransomware which means how it sounds, it is when information is held for ransom as a form of hostage until the hacker gets what they want. China also faces many cyber attacks within their own walls as well, one of note being when a group of Chinese hackers hacked in to google servers and gained access to many Chinese activist Gmail accounts without the permission to do so. This was however believed to be performed by the Chinese government, many cyber attacks throughout the world are attributed to the Chinese government, an example being when they hacked in to about 100,000 servers worldwide of the Microsoft exchange. Now moving into The United Kingdom we see more hacks that are based on phishing or impersonation, the UK deals with many cases of online identity theft through the use of hacks. Like the United States they also deal with many cases of fishing attacks which is a form of social engineering which mostly affects peoples private information. Also like the United states they often deal with many cases of profiling businesses and charities and gaining access to sensitive information they should not have.
