Cybersecurity has become a growing and important industry as advancements in technology persist and with this comes the need for more and more people to be trained in its field. This means that there is a high demand for people who are trained in cybersecurity technologies but as of now there are not the amount of people to satisfy the demand. This results in a higher cost when it comes to developing a cyber program in a particular industry or business, with this being said I still think that it is a worthwhile investment for large companies and businesses. The amount of money lost to cyber attacks when it comes to large companies comes out to be around 133,000 dollars a year, and this is only the money there are also many other troubles that come with a cyber attack. For example a hacker could take important information from the company and either hold it for ransom or sell it to someone else both of which would cause mass amounts of damage to a particular company. So looking at the cost of having a cyber program associated with a business it is not as much of a cost as an attack would be to manage. A cyber program would also aid in many other aspects like the safeguard of data and information which also give a business a sense of security and safety within the business. Overall it is apparent that at least in my opinion that developing a cyber security program within a business is more important as well as provides more help than harm when it comes to a companies money due to the high amount of risk that comes with not having these safety precautions in place to avoid dangerous outcomes from potential attacks onto a companies data and important information.
