Cybernetworks are a large part of modern day technology and are very important to the function of many modern day tasks. With this comes the need for a safe way of using these cybernetworks as well as limiting the risks of utilizing them which is easier said than done. In order for this to happen there needs to be a thorough understanding of how a cyber network functions and the problems that are associated with it, engineers have to basically make networks better by utilizing a sort of trial and error process. However, with this being said there are some more efficient ways that people called system security engineers do to aid in the protection of networks. This is achieved by utilizing a proactive loss strategy that addresses what can happen rather than what might happen, this is ultimately done because it is said to be impossible to perfectly protect something so engineers can only do the best they can and cover the most important aspect. Engineers will go over the faults that can occur within a system to combat these issues accordingly and when the system is believed to be secure it is released for use but if another problem arises more modifications will be made to the system as needed. This means that cybernetworks are attempting to adapt to the problems they face because in the realm of cybersecurity many new discoveries are made frequently therefore once something is done it’s not officially ever truly completed. Also it is worth noting that these adaptations are made both automatically as well as by human’s, automation follows a set of rules predetermined by the programmer so this means that anything not within the automations programming has to be done through human operation. Overall making these networks protected is in my opinion an uphill battle since there is no way of knowing if the protection will hold until it is tested in a real world scenario but I think that as technology advances it will become easier to defend these cybernetworks.
