Class Reflection:

Since all living things are made of cells, it is safe to assume that cell biology will eventually play a role in whatever career path one takes. I work in the field of veterinary medicine and over the years I’ve come to understand that things are done because they work but we don’t necessarily always know why they work. We achieve the desired outcome without always having the understanding of the minute details of why we get the outcomes that we do. This course has definitely refreshed that knowledge in me as well as giving me a deeper understanding of the metabolic pathways that can be applied to my every day work.
