About Me

Hey I’m Amari, a current student at Old Dominion University studying cybersecurity, and hoping to be able to learn all things that the cybersecurity space has to offer.
Throughout my early years, I was always very interested in computers, and would always tamper with games and code when trying to figure out how to beat a certain level that I was stuck on or how to get an item that I couldn’t find.
My true interest in cybersecurity didn’t start until high school, where I had the opportunity to experience some of what cybersecurity had to offer. This started my journey into cybersecurity and now I am a student learning all kinds of new things that I never would have imagined were possible with computers.
Although, the majority of my actual cybersecurity course load will begin next semester. I have dipped my feet and learned a few skills before learning them in the classroom. Those skills are
- Basic Reverse Engineering(Ghidra, some IDA pro but mostly Ghidra)
- Intermediate C++
- Basic Java
- Basic Game Reversals
- Basic to Intermediate Malware Analysis
I hope to learn more about these skills in my future courses further down the line in my major. Thanks for reading!
