At this point, there are not many activities I have been involved in outside of the classroom besides trying to practice on my own at home. There was a day when I was taking my dog for a walk that a man needed help with directions and Spanish seemed to be his primary language. I was able to deduce from what he said what he needed to know. I wasn’t able to convey the directions in Spanish, but I did use my phone and hands to try to convey to him what direction he needed to go.
