ePortfolio #6: How has cyber technology created opportunities in workplace deviance?

Cyber technology has created opportunities in workplace deviance not implanting good practices in training employees, network protections, proper infrastructure, and procedures.  I believe the workplace deviance will affect the cyber technology if the environment of an individual’s work is not structed in a professional manner where all employees can come to work and be happy to do their job 100% satisfactory.  The way this can be done is to prohibit employees from using their personal social engineering applications while at work. The second way would be to prevent employees from being defiant for example, letting an employee tell you they are not going to do an assigned tasked and demonstrating this to other co-workers that they are above the rules.  It is important to have an Es spirit de corpus (good morale in the workplace).  Workplace politics should not be tolerated.  An infrastructure that has a Human resource office will keep this managed.  All employees must use encryptions and keep their password/ accesses from being accessed.  Dealing with cyber technology there will have to be a directory for employees in place so that information can flow properly. This will maintain productivity.  To protect the network run patches, conduct systems upgrades have a 24/7 team model selection.  Companies should have inspections performed by a trusted source to make sure every area of their cyber technology can be graded.   In healthcare this deviance happens with unprotected medical records.  All healthcare workers must understand how to prevent a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.  This would lead to a numerous data breaches.  Thankfully there are laws in place to prevent this which is a motivation for workplaces in healthcare to follow the HIPPA guidelines.  I would say that the same plan must be in place for cybertechnology individual should be informed of the laws that are in place to protect systems.  If individuals are aware that there are laws in place if certain mistakes that are made.  Individuals will police themselves which is the best practice to prevent cyber technology incidents.
