When taking the Social Media Disorder test, I only had one yes. That yes came from number
four explaining how one tried to take time away from social media but failed. That number
represented persistence. I believe that the items on the scale in this generation would be different
due to the circumstances that it is so popular to the children now that it would cost conflicts and
more. The number of social media being used by children takes a toll on how individuals
perceive themselves etc. Some children look to social media for comfort while some uses it as
content and more. Being persistent with social media could be a blessing and a curse being that
cybercrimes are becoming commonplace to the world. Fraud and bullying have become a huge
crime compared to using social media years ago. Different patterns are found around the world
because of the way individuals are taught. Some are taught in different manners as other people.
Anything can be copied and projected onto an individual causing them to want to spread it or
project their emotions on others.
