warfare. Social cybersecurity can do so in either an unconventional or a conventional way.
This focuses on either predicting or understanding how cybersecurity can change a human’s
behavior. This can also change the determination of an individual’s views of politics and culture.
This focuses on building an infrastructure trust is needed to provided protection for the world’s
society from any threats evolving. State and non state actors can manipulate she divide public
beliefs and divide the society through technology. This could make information a tool in today’s
modern conflict. Social cybersecurity can differ from traditional cybersecurity by putting a target
on human behavior instead of the information systems, by using tactics such as, cognitive
hacking, psychological manipulation, and micro-marketing. This is information-based tactics can
have strategic effects on par with the physical blitzkrieg of World War II, making it a critical area
of focus for future security strategy.
