The end of this semester got better than it did during the semester. I usually spend a couple of hours on the classes that I’m struggling with than my other classes that I’m doing fine in. It seems better than the beginning of the semester. For chemistry it takes me hours to take notes because I have to pause the recordings and take notes. For statistics I do the study guides twice or three times before I feel confident in the material. In the beginning of the semester I definitely didn’t know how my study habits would be, but I still need some improvement. I guess my study habits have changed since the beginning of the semester. It definitely has changed for statistics because I didn’t really study for that class. Chemistry could be better especially when it comes to calculations. Like I said before they have changed, but still need some improvement. I honestly don’t have a study technique that works best for me. For me it’s just getting myself motivated to do my work or study. As well as looking over my professor’s notes for that specific class.
14 weeks ago I thought doing school online would help me, but in all honesty I feel like it made me mentally not okay or just exhausted. Especially not being on campus and staying at home has made it hard for me to have motivation. I honestly still haven’t looked into any resources, but I guess going on campus once a week with some friends definitely helped me. I haven’t had any unhelpful resource or activity that I have encountered just because I haven’t looked into any. I wish I knew that my schedule would be more spread out than having a set schedule for my workload 14 week ago. I can handle the workload, it’s just the time in between them. It’s so spread out and I’m not used to that. I have learned not to worry so much about how much work I have to do and just take it one step at a time instead of cramming and overthinking everything. I hope this will help me next semester.
