Professional Mission Statement

My professional goal is to continue working in this field and use the knowledge and skills I gained during my MPH degree and my previous professional life. My vision is to contribute to solving significant public health challenges and bringing health equity to our community, region, and globally. In addition, I want to use evidence-based knowledge and research to improve the population’s health, especially those most vulnerable, and to offer support and inspiration to others through leadership and expertise in the subject matter.

Top 3 Areas of Interest in Public Health

Environmental Health: Tracking toxic environmental pollutants and reducing their release significantly impacts our health and well-being. Many people in the United States live in a neighborhood with unsafe air and water, live close to a superfund site, potentially exposing them to harmful chemicals and toxins, or use regular household products, exposing them to toxic chemicals responsible for producing cancer or reproductive or cognitive impairment. I want to contribute to creating healthy homes and communities by engaging people in sustainable food choices, promoting sustainable lifestyle choices, and identifying equitable environmental solutions. I want to make small changes around me and create a big difference to make a safe and healthier environment, air, water, and food for future generations.

Community-based health research: I am always passionate about working with and working for people. Working in community-based health research aims to educate people, improve health, and bring social change. Community-based research emphasizes the knowledge and understanding of chronic diseases and translates evidence-based programs into healthcare and community systems. I am always passionate about research to change human life in their community. My positive approach and vision of care could create provision and social inclusion for people in their community.

Health Equity: Advancing health equity and eliminating health disparities are significant issues for public health practice. Poor health outcomes for populations with low socioeconomic status and certain racial and ethnic minorities are closely linked to historical and contemporary injustices, disparities in healthcare access, and social, economic, and environmental disadvantages. My primary focus as a public health professional is to fight against chronic system misconduct and spend my life achieving technically innovative community-based prevention strategies to reduce the burden of chronic disease from a specific population.

Contribution to the public health field

I plan to contribute to the public health field through my hard work and positive approach toward the community’s health. ‘When you share your story, your story will heal you, and your story will inspire others.’ I want to use people’s stories to inspire others in the community. The stories will focus on the health challenges our communities face. The reports will be presented in a series of photography or animation forms. Storytelling is the best communication method the human race has used for thousands of years. I am from a culture where I grew up listening to stories that teach life goals, are used as a tool for moral development, and teach life lessons.
