Cyber technology created opportunities for workplace deviance by having multiple multi-dimensional computers, phones, and any other everyday technology being used. The technology we use today is advanced in so many ways from the past. Things are becoming quicker, more efficient, and easier just by always learning to find anything that can become better. Cyber technology is supposed to be used for protecting servers, hardware, software, and networks from hackers or viruses. Now granted people use cyber technology to protect the networks. Many businesses hire these professionals at a good rate of pay to accurately protect that company. Having the latest software or hardware that is upgraded to the max can put you on top of your colleagues making you the best at what you are doing for that company or using it for competition with other businesses. No one should fall behind when dealing with serious topics such as your cybersecurity. Without cybersecurity, the business has no hope of reaching its max potential because it can get stript or stolen from at any given moment. A lot of times businesses under-appreciate the work of the colleagues doing the work for keeping the system free from hacks and lose their employees.  Now, it’s another way cyber technology creates opportunities for workplace deviance which is when one person uses it for the bad. Though technology is rapidly increasing and we are developing new ways to protect our cyber data hacks and hackers are learning to bypass those hacks which can lead to huge problems. If someone were to find something that bypasses it all then no one would be able to stop them. They would already have all the information they need for the specific hack they are using. I feel that we use technology for the goods not the bads in cybersecurity.
