I major in Information systems and technology, which is under the Strome college of business. Within it, there are three tracks to follow towards; these include Database administration, E-business\E-commerce, and Network engineering. This ties into cybersecurity because a technical background is needed within both. Although Information technology is more of a broad perspective of the business environment, both majors have to have business and system skills along with adapting to the rapid changes the technological field has over the years. Throughout the course, I have noticed that you would need IT the knowledge to utilize cybersecurity fully. Four majors associated with cybersecurity that our offers are Cyber operations, cybercrime, advanced engineering cyber systems security, and modeling & simulation engineering. Each of these relates to cybersecurity because they are directly related to it like cybercrime, cyber operations, and cyber systems, or it can be used in the other major like engineering.

When I googled myself nothing came up about me, I noticed that many people around the world have my name. The most famous person with my name is an Emmy nominated Executive Producer and founder of the award-winning digital production and management studio, HOAX Films. She was nominated for her first EMMY in 2014 for her work in Art Direction and Graphic Design on the History Channel’s Ultimate Guide to the Presidents. However, if looking at my own social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, I think others would learn that I am a straightforward person who is also trying to make a more positive space without being to open with my personal life.
