Mid-Semester Reflection

So far into this semester I am doing very well in my English Comp class as I am beginning to like writing due to my teachers amazing teaching. We have creative feedback most of the time and we also implement peer review and group work so we are able to give each other opinions and feedback as well. I have been struggling with starting my papers at the last minute causing me to rush in turn limiting my work and what it could turn out to be. I have noticed I am struggling in some of my other classes as well such as history and chemistry as there is no one there to remind me of due dates and exams. I have been spending less time in the dorms and more time at the library which helps me stay focused and ok task. So far college has met and not met some of my expectations including realizing my classes were not as hard as my previous high school teachers made them out to be. While they are not harder compared to the paper work they require a lot more studying and understanding than typical high school courses. I also had some anxiety regarding the way i was going to be treated by those around me but I have been able to make friend’s very quickly as well as become close to some faculty members. I have been able to accommodate to college life so far and cant wait to see what it has left to offer!
