This was the choir event i went to that was held at the preforming arts theater near the Web. The students who performed. Each individual performer played their instrument beautifully and to a T. The violin was my favorite part as it takes a tremendous amount if focus and effort as your fingers have to move at a very fast pace in order to keep up. Another thing i noticed when they played is the lead player will take the first inhale to signal to the other players when they are supposed to play. This requires a lot of trust as the others are depending in the leader to make to call at the right time or else the entire play will be off. Overall the experience was a 10/10 as i enjoyed the music and aesthetic of the event.

This event was the hot chocolate and cookies my building hosted in the common area on the main floor. I enjoyed this experience because you could feel the community throughout the room. The RA’s and members of the building were all engaging in conversation. They had multiple things to offer such as waffles, hot chocolate, cookies, and toppings which included cookies crumbles, whip cream, and sprinkles. I was able to get a cookie and a cup of hot chocolate to enjoy. I was able to meet and see multiple friends that are usually in the dorm. it was a great mingling experience as ell as a chance to meet and see any new RA’s that I had previously missed.

This event was the late night breakfast ODU offered. I enjoyed this experience because I personally love breakfast food for dinner so I was very intrigued. Not only was i able to enjoy my favorite meal at night I was bale to meet more people I had never met before As everyone attending ODU was there at the same time. They served us eggs, pancakes, bacon and hashbrowns with the choice to build a breakfast sandwich’s. The lines went very smoothly as they had two lines set up for a smoother transition.

This “event” was not held on campus but it is amazing bookstore located not too far from campus grounds. They had hundreds of books to offer all based on the empowerment of women and the history of African Americans. Some of these books included the correct history of the American past told by African Americans. They also offered coloring books, stickers, tote bags, and apparel with empowering and validating phrases. They also expressed their support for the LGBTQ+ community which made me feel appreciated and safe. Apart from this they also offer alcoholic beverages for those 21+ and older catering to multiple age ranges.
