Final Reflection

I have grown a lot from the beginning of the semester to the current moment. I have learned that procrastination is not always the best route to go as it causes more stress and turmoil than getting work done on time. My study habits have been better as I have been spending more time at the library and focusing during the lectures. My expectations for this year have been met as I have met awesome people and created new friends. I have also been able to absorb amazing and interesting new information about my desired major. During my first year I wish I knew the importance of studying and keeping up with my assignments as there is no one to remind me. I also wish I knew the importance of sleep and how much it could impact my daily mood with learning this I have created a better sleep schedule. I have used multiple resources on campus such as the health center and the Dean of Students. I used these resources when I was sick and they helped me get some samples of medicine that could help me temporarily. These resources proved to be helpful when I was struggling with going to classes due to being so sick. Many of my classes tied together very often as global health was discussed within all of them. Because of this, I learned how to tie all of the subjects together. I was able to learn the historical and social aspects of medicine and how it is tied into most daily things we do not think about. Overall, i enjoyed the first semester/year of college and cannot wait for more!
