My Major is Nuclear Medicine Laboratory. A week ago my major was nursing and I was absolutely set on it. After hearing about Nuclear Med Lab and what it had to offer I knew I had to change my major. Nuclear Med Lab offers an amazing balance between work hours and patient contact. I am able to experience one on patient care while also being able to have time to focus on my work. Although I do not have experience in my current field I did get the opportunity to work in a nursing home in my hometown over the previous summer to gain some experience. I was able to interact and bond with some of the residents there. I was able to gain a better understanding of what being a nurse is like. (Below is a picture of the resident cat that lived in the nursing home). You could often see other residents playing with the cat and having a good time.
