The e-portfolio have helped me this semester to keep track of my writing work throughout the semester. I feel that being introduced to e-portfolio makes it easier to keep up with my work in not only this class, but my other classes the requires me to create e-portfolios. e-portfolios allows me to keep up with my work and go back and look at my progress throughout the semester class. I also find it easy to turn in assignment into the e-portfolio rather that turning it into Blackboard. With the e-portfolio it allows me to go back and look at the work I have done and make changes to it if needed. When submitting work into blackboard it does not allow you to go back in and make changes, so it make the work that you have submitted final. One of the assignments that I found helpful this semester was the writing review check list. Because we submit them through the e-portfolio it makes it easy to go back and look at your writing progress from the previous essays that have been submitted. One of the significant discoveries that I made during this semester is that I really need to go back, and proof read my work before submitting it for grading. When doing the editing skills check list, I found that most of my mistakes when writing is punctuation, using the work “you”, and pronoun/antecedent. Because of the e-portfolio and editing skills check list I know where I need improvement at while writing and I have also discovered my strengths as a writer.
