Music is a very important characteristic in ones life. I believe you can tell the type of person one is, based on the music they listen to. I am the type of person that values the most important things in life, and that is reflected in my music. I enjoy positive music about love, dreams, peace, and family. I have met multiple people throughout my life, and the ones that I actually connect with have the same taste in music as me. I connect with them because they also know the importance of life, and just like me they express it through the music they listen to. A person who is very out-going and the life of the party, more likely will not have slow R&B music as there favorite genre. The genre isn’t everything when determining ones character. The actual lyrics of the song is more important than the style of music. One can admire a song because the lyrics express something that they enjoy or have experienced before. If you like listening to heartbreak music, chances are you can relate to what the artist is saying. If you enjoy listening to loud party music, it’s more than likely you also enjoy dancing. I always find that the more open-minded you are, the more genres of music you enjoy listening to.
