There are many great and interesting things that I’ve learned in this course. Many topics affected me personally and opened my eyes to some of the most important things of life. The assignments have drew attention to important aspects of society, such as the issue of racism and the impact of love. I learned many different styles of love, and participated in an activity that helps me determine which style I express the most. I expressed the pragma style more than the ludus style in the questionnaire. This helps me understand the type of person I am and how I express my feelings to the people I love. It reminded me of a previous Intro to Sociology course I took. We learned about how certain people treat each other for certain reasons. This course gave me the opportunity to understand certain behavior, actions, and emotions. This course also encourages certain behaviors, such as volunteering to help others. This material helped me become a better student as well as a better citizen in society.
