It specifically examines how these elements in high-pressure settings such as healthcare, where employee stress plays a role in cybersecurity measures. The research delves into the impact of cybersecurity education, identifying and reporting actions, and the stress caused by AI on security protocols in the workplace. 

Relation to Social Science Principles

The study of cybersecurity incident management and employee stress aligns with key social science principles. Determinism is evident as the research explores how specific factors, like high workloads and time pressure, directly cause stress, which influences cybersecurity practices. Objectivity is maintained through the use of empirical data, such as incident reports and stress surveys, ensuring that conclusions are based on visual evidence. The principle of Parsimony is reflected in the study’s focus on a few key variables such as things like stress, AI usage, and incident reporting, which is streamlining complex human behaviors into manageable research questions. Finally, Empiricism is also a principle related to the study, which relies on data-driven analysis to test its hypotheses and draw conclusions about the relationship between stress and cybersecurity behavior.

It promotes the use of improved incident reporting systems and highlights the importance of training to enhance employees’ abilities to handle cyber risks. The study discusses how AI can either alleviate or worsen stress, and recommends that companies focus on employee welfare in addition, to progressions.

Conclusion

This article highlights the connection, between employee stress levels and cybersecurity measures integrated with AI technology in organizations. The recommendation is to offer training programs for employees and to support marginalized groups while also keeping an eye on stress levels to ensure a strong cybersecurity system is maintained. This research has implications for ensuring safety in industries where cybersecurity plays a crucial role such as healthcare.
